Peace Begins at Home

With financial support from Folke Bernadotte Academy we have under the Cultnet organization made 5 events in different cities. And they have all been successfull. Next stop will probably be Uppsala. First of all we want to show the film Bella & Rea-the Movie at Castel Cinema Theater and then hopefully inspire to a Peace Begins at Home event in schools. The controversy is that the film can be seen as the story of Fadime. A muslim young girl from Uppsala murdered by her father because she didn´t obey. But the truth is that the short film version already had won filmprizes before that tragic incident. The handbook "Coach Youth with Life Compass" has turned out to be both a manual and inspiration. A Young kurd girl in Bollnäs, a small city of Sweden, used it to build a new association.
